1. Principle
The impregnated plastic powder was coated by the process of electrostatic adsorption and melt curing. First, the powder is sprayed on the substrate, and then the powder is melted by heating and a uniform coating is formed on the surface of the substrate. During the melting process, the resin solidifies, forming a strong coating.
2. Composition
The impregnated plastic powder is mainly composed of the following components:
Resin: Resin is the main component of the impregnated powder coating, which determines the performance of the coating. Commonly used resins are epoxy resin, polyester resin and polyurethane resin.
Fillers: fillers play a role in increasing the coating thickness and improving the coating performance in the impregnated powder. Common fillers are titanium dioxide, quartz powder and so on.
Curing agent: Curing agent is a key component of resin curing, allowing the resin to cure quickly after heating to form a strong coating.
Auxiliaries: Auxiliaries mainly play the role of adjusting fluidity, improving gloss and preventing static accumulation.
